Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Brown Rice:
- To boil the Rice
- 2 1/2 cups Basmati rice
- As needed Water to boil rice
- to taste Salt
- 1 tsp Oil
- To make the sauce
- 1 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Red chilli sauce
- 1 tsp Green Chilli sauce
- 1 tsp Schezwan sauce
- 1 tsp Schezwan Chutney
- 1 tsp Oil
- to taste Salt
- To make Brown Rice
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Garlic (finely chopped)
- 1 cup Onion (sliced)
- 1 cup Capsicum(sliced)
- to taste Salt
- 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp Chowmein masala. You will find the recipe in the link
- 2 tbsp Sauce that we have prepared
- as required Some chopped Manchurian balls
- As per requirement Spring onion greens
Instructions to make to make Brown Rice
- Now let's prepare our Rice. First in a Big Bowl, add Water to boil the rice(2X of the quantity you have taken of the rice).
- Once the water starts boiling, add 2 & 1/2 cups of Basmati rice, 1 tsp of Oil and salt to taste.
- Cook the rice only 80%, don't over cook it. Cook it for approximately 10-12 mins. If the rice is still raw, cook it for more 5 minutes.
- Strain the Rice and wash it will cold water to stop cooking the Rice.
- Now let's prepare our Fried Rice.
First, add 2 tbsp Olive oil, 1 tbsp Garlic. Let it saute for 2 minutes until the raw is gone. Now add Onions and Capsicum. Let it saute for 5 minutes until Half cooked. - Now add the prepared Sauce and a pinch of salt (use as per your taste). Mix it well and add homemade Chowmein masala, and 1 tbsp Red chilli powder (skip it if not eating so much spicy)
- Now add some chopped Manchurian balls and saute it. Finally add the rice and stir it well. Don't over stir.
